 I know how much VSS sucks - but some companies won't (internally) allow
 CVS or Subversion.
 So there is the need to support (at least on the windows platform) VSS.

 And don't forget that there is ClearCase, a well known commerical SCM.

 Just ideas - but this would raise the acceptance level a bit.
