 I was getting the same error running Trac on RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.
 Apparently its the SELinux issue mentioned above.  Running that ''chcon''
 command on my trac_project_env dir finally got Trac running, but my the
 Timeline and Browse Source functionality was still broken.  I got those
 fixed by running the same ''chcon'' command on my Subversion repository
 directories.
