 While creating milestones, I pasted the title in from a pdf file. This
 left the {{{^M}}} and {{{^J}}} special characters in front of my
 milestone's name.

 The milestone was created without problems, and (apparently) rendered
 correctly. However, it could not be deleted or edited, from either the web
 interface or from trac-admin. Deleting or modifying through the web-
 interface brought up an error stating that the milestone does not exist.
 We found the problem by going into trac-admin and using 'milestone remove
 >tab<' and seeing what came up in the list. However we could not enter the
 characters directly to get the remove tool to work.

 The problem was solved by manually deleting the entry from the TRAC
 project database.
