[Trac] Create ticket via email?

I've looked around, but not found this functionality yet - is it
possible to get Trac to create a new ticket from an incoming email?

More accurately, are there any command-line tools I can invoke from
something like a procmail ruleset, that will create and/or modify
tickets, in a similar manner to the svn hooks?

I'm not very used to Python, but I could turn my hand at hacking some
existing code, given a couple of pointers ...
