This is actually not true. SQLite 3.0.x *does* work with Trac, but you 
have to use it in combination with PySQLite 1.1.x. If you're using 
SQLite 2.8.x, you'll need PySQLite 1.0.x. That's also what TracInstall 
says AFAICT.
