[Trac] Patch available for drop down selection of users?

I am currently running version 0.8.0 of Trac. Somewhere on the Trac
website I found a "patch" file that I applied that added the ability
for a drop down select menu to be on the interface. This drop down
menu contained the name and email of users that "saved" their settings
(session key) in Trac. This allowed the ability to select a user to
assign tickets to instead of typing it out (as most would type an
email wrong and the person would never see it). I am wanting to
upgrade to the latest version 0.8.2. The only issue is I know with the
upgrade I will lose this ability.

I'm hoping someone has a patch available for the latest release or
knows an easy way to do the above functionality I mentioned in the
0.8.2 release. Any help?
