I guess we can close this "ballot" now after a couple of days and plenty
of responses.
The results were:
Using 2.1: None
Using 2.2: 1
Using 2.3: 11
Using 2.4: 1
Nobody voiced concerns about dropping 2.1 support.
So, pretty soon now trunk will stop working on Python 2.1. I've got a
couple of changes up my sleeve that use generators and other 2.2 features.
