[Trac] adding a left side menu...

hi...

i've been searching through the trac docs.. and am completely stuck!! i must
be missing something.... how do i add menu items to either the left side of
a page within trac, or the top horizontal menus...

also, as i have questions, is this the appropriate mailing list to ask
them...

i'm trying to figure out how to create something like the following...

 main default page:

  left menu

    foo
    foo1



when the user selects item 'foo', i'd like to be able to allow the user to
go to the trac page for 'foo'

on page 'foo', i'd like to have a different menu list. so i also need to
know how to allow a given page to have a given menu list....

any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

i know it's doable, given the main trac website...
