[Trac] Trac trunk and patch #222?

I'm planning to get all those features into trunk soon, although the 
implementation will probably differ from the patch to #222.

Well, I wouldn't recommend using trunk in production at this point. 
There's been a lot of changes going on, as you have noticed.
