You can search the tickets to see this has been requested several times.
Ticket #710 is probably the main one. The feature will not be added to
the core product, but may be added as a plug-in at a later date.

You can use custom ticket fields to achieve this functionality in the
current version of Trac.

Just found Trac: looks excellent.

Are there any plans to add time tracking? I have a need to measure how
much
time is spent on various projects, and I'm think of a 'start' and 'stop'
button per project.
