[Trac] .8 is nice, will .9 solve these whoes?

We're running .8.1 and I have to say this model of project management
could not more perfectly fit my view of the world. The integration of
wiki/bug/svn is fantastic.
That said, we have a few extra requirements that are causing us pain,
does .9 address these and is it stable enough to use?
- group level permissions. We only want certain users to see certain
bugs / pages / sources. We could probably even live with having that
group level access done only on tickets.
- the above might actually be solved by having multiple projects.
How well does this work in .9 and is there a test-drive somewhere to see
how well it works?
Thanks and good work.
