[Trac] egg installation problem

Hi,

I'm using 0.10 and trying to install a couple of plugins for a specif
environment. I tried two plugins from the track hack site (namely TracNav
and WikiGoodies), I build the .egg from the source without problem and
copied it to the plugin directory of my project. When I call the macro from
a page, Trac tells me it is an unrecognized macro call... ???

I'm certainly doing something wrong... I'm using the standalone server with
python 2.3.4

any help/hint would be appreciated
