I'm using mod_python, so:

SetEnv PYTHON_EGG_CACHE /opt/projects/tmp
PythonOption TracEnv /srv/trac/projectname

Actually, Trac seems to run brilliantly.  I've seen Trac/2.2 issues on
Windows, but haven't heard of - nor have I had - any issues with 2.2
on Linux (I'm running FC5).  I may not have found the problems yet,
though, so if you have any specifics, I'd love to hear them.  I'll
take a look at the site, too (just to be sure).
