Yes, the email address and the user name are stored in the database,
in the session_attribute table:
sid : <apache login>
name : 'email'
value : <email address>
sid : <apache login>
name : 'name'
value : <user name>
Note that it is usually a bad idea to access the DB directly : the
schema can change over time, there may be cross references, etc. I do
not know this part of the DB, but you probably need to update both the
session table and the session_attribute tables.
I hope that once we have the user directory interface implemented, it
will be easier to manage this kind of data.
