I am evaluating Trac & Subversion to be used for our development projects, however, we are a fairly large organisation, and have a significant presence of other tools. The testers use Test Director to raise bugs and carry out their testing, however, the developers are not allowed to use TD to raise any issues that we might want to track against our codebase. Has anybody done any integration work with TD to pull out Defect list’s or information, and then pushed it back, once a bug was fixed. I am really keen on Trac, but am not sure that I can convince management to switch to it, as the testers would never give up using Test Director. Also, I have no experience in python.
